(Feb. 22, PACKER WEB EXCLUSIVE) The 2008 edition of the Produce for Better Health Foundation’s nutrition education catalog is now available.

The free catalog contains educational tools for teachers and parents as well as kitchen tools, clothing, promotional items and posters for retailers.

Jill Le Brasseur, marketing assistant for Wilmington, Del.-based PBH, said more than 85,000 copies of this year’s catalog already have been shipped to educators, health professionals and others.

She said PBH is making an effort this year to reach parents who home school their children.

“That’s a new target for us,” she said. “It’s a good fit. It’s an audience that’s been underserved in the past.”

Educational products include games, books and compact discs, including some that are available in Spanish.

Le Brasseur said this year’s version of the catalog has more items related to the foundation’s Fruits & Veggies More Matters campaign than last year’s because the brand officially launched last spring.

To receive the catalog, e-mail Mecca Benson at mbenson@pbhfoundation.org. It also can be accessed online at www.pbhcatalog.com.
