(Nov. 30) Monterey, Calif.-based Pro*Act, a fresh produce supplier to the foodservice industry, has revamped its Web site -- www.proactusa.com -- to provide users more timely and more interactive online information, according to a news release.

“We’ve added recipes, career opportunities and a glossary of produce quality terms,” Max Yeater, the company’s chief operating officer, said in the release.

The site now is more user friendly and lays out the food safety program parameters Pro*Act requires of its distributors and suppliers, the release said.

“We’ve also added more detailed information on our distributors along with an interactive map of Pro*Act distribution centers coast to coast,” added Mary Wright-Rana, marketing manager.
