The Michigan Asparagus Growers Division of the Michigan Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Association has reached an agreement with handlers for the 2013 crop as follows: the cash price will be 78 cents per pound with full payment due by the first Friday of the week following delivery. The grade is based on a maximum spear length of 7.5-inches.
