(March 30, 11:50 a.m.) Ladera Ranch, Calif.-based Dulcinea Farms LLC has added two produce industry sales veterans, Bill Spidell and Kevin Leap.

The pair, who will have the title of sales director, bring 30 years of produce industry experience to Dulcinea Farms, said Monique McLaws, marketing manager.

Spidell, who has been in the produce industry for 17 years, comes to Dulcinea after the second of two stints with Sun World International LLC, Bakersfield, Calif., McLaws said. Sandwiched in between the two positions with Sun World, Spidell worked for Pasha Marketing LLC, Mecca, Calif.

Leap began his more than 13 years in produce in retail, McLaws said, then moved to Ready Pac Produce, Irwindale, Calif., where he was retail specialty division sales manager.

Leap and Spidell will both focus on national and regional accounts at Dulcinea.

“The addition of Bill Spidell and Kevin Leap fulfilled our first priority to recruit and build a comprehensive and powerful sales and customer service team,” John McGuigan, vice president of sales and marketing, said in a written statement from Dulcinea.
