(Oct. 23) The Ralphs/Food 4 Less Foundation, the charitable arm of Compton, Calif.-based Ralphs Grocery Co. and Food 4 Less stores, has pledged $200,000 to the American Red Cross for wildfire relief in Southern California, according to a news release.

The stores’ customers can make cash donations in specially marked collection canisters at any of the chains’ 382 Southern California stores.

"As a Southern California retailer, we are pleased to assist the American Red Cross in its vitally important relief efforts for these wildfires that are devastating our communities," said Ralphs president Mike Donnelly, in the release.
