(Dec. 27) Two restaurant chains are offering an incentive to help customers achieve the timeless New Year’s resolution of leading a healthier lifestyle.

Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation, owned by San Diego-based Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp., are inviting customers to register to win a one-year membership to Healthyroads Coaching Programs for weight management, tobacco cessation and healthy living, in which they will receive personal coaching sessions with registered dieticians, personal trainers and nurses, according to a company release.

Healthyroads is a national provider of telephone- and Internet-based coaching programs that help people attain wellness objectives.

Through the month of January, customers can submit an entry form online at www.sweettomatoes.com or www.souplantation.com, and 105 winners, one from each Sweet Tomato and Souplantation location across the Southern, Western and Eastern U.S., will be announced Feb. 28, the release said.

“Garden Fresh is excited to partner with Healthyroads and to provide our guests with an opportunity to participate in this life-changing program,” Michael Mack, chief executive officer of Garden Fresh Restaurant, said in the news release. “Our restaurants were founded on the concept of healthy dining out, and we believe Healthyroads offers unique tools and resources to help people make informed lifestyle choices that will enhance their lives.”

Sweet Tomatoes and Souplantation are salad-buffet style restaurants that offer a wide variety of fresh produce, salads, soups, breads and others on their 55-foot salad bars, the release said.
