(March 18) A white paper entitled "What You Need to Know Now About Complying with Country of Origin Labeling Rules" has been prepared by the United Fresh Produce Association, Washington, D.C., according to a news release.

The analysis of the legal requirements expected to take effect Sept. 30, with advice for every segment of the produce supply chain from grower-shippers to retailers, was prepared by Autumn Veazey, the association’s associate counsel.

The guide is available free to United Fresh members, and at a $25 cost to non-members. It can be downloaded from the United Fresh Web site -- www.unitedfresh.org.
