Located at www.BurchFarmsNC.com, the new website was designed to reflect the Burch family’s passion for its work, according to a news release.
“The site tells our story, not just what we do, which we understand retailers and consumers now like to see,” Jimmy Burch Jr., said in the release.
Among the commodities grown by the company and featured on its website is asparagus, which is a first this year.
The asparagus is expected to be available through the end of May, according to the website. With its “large-scale” asparagus operation, the Burch family hopes to capitalize on popular demand close to home, citing “lower food miles” as a promotable aspect of its newest commercial crop.
Also featured prominently on website is Covington Vodka, the only American vodka made from sweet potatoes, according to the website. The Burch family launched the vodka in 2012.
