Los Alamitos, Calif.-based Frieda’s Specialty Product has produced a new series of short YouTube videos as part of its continuing “Specialty Produce 101” series.
Each one is only about 90 seconds long, making it also easy to view on mobile devices, according to a new release.
Alex Jackson, account manager and Caplan’s daughter, stars in the videos and shares usage tips, interesting facts, and recipe ideas about the featured produce item. The filming is down in-house in Frieda’s test kitchen.
But consumers aren’t the only ones who might be interested in the videos.
“Many of our retail clients use our videos to train their produce managers,” Karen Caplan, president and chief executive officer, said in the release. “The shorter form of the videos is much more time efficient.”
