We love kale chips in the Riemenschneider house, so I was excited to find W.P. Rawl’s Chili Lime Kale Chip Kit at the Wal-Mart near my house in Cedar Park, Texas. The price was right, about $2.50 for a bag that makes roughly a bunch or two’s worth of kale chips the regular way.

If you haven’t tried kale chips, there’s a huge difference between fresh ones and the ones you can find pre-made at the store.  These taste great! They take a lot of the work out of it for you by removing the stems and making it quick and easy to toss in oil and the seasoning and bake.

I did hit a bit of a problem with a bunch of stems in the bag, but they were easy to remove. It also took longer than the directions say, but that’s variable as we all know every oven is different.

Overall, they were fun and delicious.
