Collierville, Tenn.-based Helena Chemical Co. has launched Tempest, a new insecticide that contains two active ingredients.
One is for knockdown, the other for residual control of sucking and chewing insects.
It is registered for more than 50 crops, including potatoes, tree nuts and vegetables, according to a news release. State registrations are pending.
The product contains a 1:1 ratio of bifenthrin and imidacloprid, along with an adjuvant.
