The University of California, Davis, is hosting several classes this summer on a wide range of winemaking subjects, ranging from those for home production to commercial wineries.

Home winermakers, for example, can choose among classes, such as "Introduction to Wines and Wine Making" to "Wine Grapes: Identification and Use."

Commercial programs include "OIV Wine Marketing," "Winery Accounting and Finance for Executives" and the "Wine Law Academy."
