Although powdery mildew may not be the most devastating of tomatoes diseases, it nonetheless can affect yields, particularly earlier in the season.

To help growers learn more about the disease, including management strategies and control methods, Focus on Tomato has launched a 15-minute Web seminar, according to a news release.

Brenna Aegerter, a University of California Cooperative Extension farm adviser in San Joaquin County, leads the presentation.

The presentation will be open access through July 31.
