The Wonderful Halos brand is a favorite among moms, according to a study by children-focused research firm Smarty Pants LLC.
Los Angeles-based The Wonderful Co. spent $30 million promoting its mandarins this season, according to a news release, and Halos ranked 15th among top brands for moms.
“Moms know best, so it’s no surprise to learn that Halos are their favorite healthy snack brand choice for their families,” Adam Cooper, vice president of marketing, said in the release. “With over 8 billion servings sold over the past four years, our message of ‘pure goodness’ and delicious taste continues to resonate with parents and kids.”
The study gathered preferences from 8,125 households with children ages 6-12 and looked at 285 brands across more than 20 categories.
Cuties, the easy-peeler brand of Pasadena, Calif.-based Sun Pacific, ranked 38th on the list of top brands for moms, according to the release.
