The California Department of Food and Agriculture has registered Quash Fungicide from Valent U.S.A. Corp. for use on stone fruit and tree nuts.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency had already registered the product on a number of crops. Registration is pending in New York, according to a news release.

Quash is a broad-spectrum triazole fungicide that contains the active ingredient metconazole.

It targets several fungal diseases, including blossom blight, Alternaria leaf spot, shot hole, scab and brown rot.
