The Environmental Protection Agency has registered Inspire Super fungicide from Greensboro, N.C.-based Syngenta Crop Protection for use on cucurbits.

Inspire Super is a premix of difenoconazole and cyprodinil, the active ingredients in Inspire and Vangard, respectively, according to a news release.

Together, they target gummy stem blight and powdery mildew.

In 2008, the premix was granted a Section 18 emergency use permit in Georgia.

The use rate is 16 to 20 ounces per acre, and the pre-harvest interval is seven days, according to the label.
