The Environmental Protection Agency has reduced the restricted entry interval for Revus Fungicide to four hours from 12 hours.

The product from Syngenta Crop Protection of Greensboro, N.C., contains the active ingredient mandipropamid, which targets oomycete fungi, according to a news release.

That group includes Phytophthora blight, late blight and downy mildew.

Revus is labeled for use on grapes and vegetables, including cucurbits, bulb, fruiting, leafy and Brassica.

The fungicide belongs to the Fungicide Resistance Action Committee's Group 40.
