Raleigh, N.C.-based MANA Crop Protection has introduced Adapt nicosulfuron herbicide for use on seed corn, popcorn and some sweet corn hybrids as well as field corn.
It can be applied by ground or air, except in New York or California, where aerial applications are not permitted.
Among the weeds it controls are barnyardgrass, foxtail, johnsongrass, panicum, ryegrass, sandbur, shattercane, morningglory, jimsonweed, pigweed and wild proso millet.
It can be tankmixed with several other herbicides.
