Yakima, Wash.-based Domex Superfresh Growers remain positive, preparing for the upcoming harvest despite winter weather conditions.

“We have inputs that we have no control over,” said Dave Gleason, chief horticulturaist at Domex Superfresh Growers, in a news release. “We may do the same thing every year, but the weather is different, the water is different, the timing of the spring, when things are harvested, all of those things are dictated by what nature gives us every year.”

This upcoming season, SuperFresh Growers will be increasing acreage of Autumn Glory and Cosmic Crisp apples, according to the release.
