Frank Gasperini of the National Council of Ag Employers said in an email that the Department of Labor is set to publish a proposed rule on child labor tomorrow. Here is coverage from The Packer and here is the prepublication rule.

Agricultural Prices Fresh apple prices for the grower were 43.4 cents per pound in August, up from 28.5 in July and 29 cents per pound in August last year. Potato prices show signs of slippage.
