Jose E. Rossignoli will now lead national sales efforts for Homestead-based Brooks Tropicals Inc. Among his other duties, Rossignoli will look to boost papaya sales to both the foodservice and retail industries.
Brooks Tropicals Inc., Homestead, has announced the promotion of its president’s assistant to the director of national sales position.
The grower-shipper and packer of tropical fruits and vegetables said in a news release that Jose Rossignoli had been elevated from his two-year stint as assistant to Brooks president Neal Brooks and would now lead the firm’s sales efforts.
The company said that Rossignoli had been involved in planning its papaya operations in Belize. He also assisted with Brooks’ SlimCado avocado operations in south Florida.
Brooks said Rossignoli, in his new role, would work with retail and foodservice accounts to achieve further integration of the company’s papaya production with various sales and merchandising programs.
