Former Giro Pack Inc. personnel have formed 4HM Solutions, a new company to help the produce industry with packinghouse efficiencies and packaging innovations.

The four 4HM partners, David Larkin, Steve Carey, Jarek Sochacki and Chip Manuel, have a background in “creating some of the largest, most efficient packhouse facilities in the world,” according to a news release. That includes next generation packaging campaigns, commodity launches and design to implementation for packing facilities.

The company is working on sweet potato, apple, avocado, citrus, nut and onion projects, according to the release.

“We’re creating a wider choice for our clients, while encouraging businesses to improve the quality of goods and services they sell,” Manuel said in the release.

4HM offers a single source for end-to-end packing and packaging solutions, customized for each facility, according to the release.

The partners’ focus at 4HM, according to the company’s website are:

  • Carey: Managing partner-sales, former national sales manager at Giro Pack USA.
  • Larkin: Managing partner-operations, is a former general manager at Giro Pack USA, where he was for 15 years.
  • Manuel: Managing partner-sales, was managing East and West Coast sales for Giro Pack USA.
  • Sochacki: Managing partner-technical sales, was service manager at Giro Pack USA.
