Friesland, Wis-based Alsum Farms & Produce hosted 150 runners, walkers and FFA supporters at the third annual Tater Trot 5K Run/Walk, Sept. 4 at Alsum Farms.

“Together, we raised more than $2,000 to benefit local FFA chapters,” said Christine Lindner, national sales and marketing manager. 

FFA chapters that received the funds include Randolph Cambria-Friesland, Beaver Dam, Markesan, Pardeeville and Waupun, Lindner said.

Alsum also has been adding acreage and storage capacity, Lindner said.
“We continue to add more acres to our potato farms and facilities, including a new potato storage bin at our farm in Grand Marsh, Wis.,” she said.
