Avocados From Mexico’s Guac Nation is back, in a cross promotion with Bud Light and Cholula hot sauce leading into the Super Bowl.

Through Feb. 4, branded bins and point-of-sale displays will encourage consumers to take their game day parties to the next level, according to a news release, with rebates and a sweepstakes for the “ultimate party pack” to celebrate the Feb. 2 game.

Fans eat almost the equivalent of 300 million avocados on Super Bowl Sunday, according to the promotion group.

"Our Big Game programming is packed with exciting opportunities to merchandise avocados in an effort to drive consumption," Stephanie Bazan, vice president of trade and market development at Avocados From Mexico, said in the release. "Working with two impactful brands not only offers retailers the opportunity for engaging in-store promotions, but also offers customers a seamless shopping experience for their Big Game party needs."

Consumers can enter to win a $500 gift card at the promotion site, WorthEveryMoment.com, or by texting “GUAC” to 48-811.

In-store rebates available through the promotion are:

$8 off the purchase of a Bud Light (12-pack or larger), three Mexican avocados and a bottle of Cholula Hot Sauce (5 ounces or larger); and
$4 off the purchase of three Mexican avocados and a bottle of Cholula Hot Sauce (5 ounces or larger).

Consumers now have the opportunity to buy fresh avocados on digital and social media, through MikMak, an enterprise marketing technology platform integrated into Avocados from Mexico’s media. It also allows the promotion group to “better understand their consumers by connecting digital investments to online retailer insights,” according to the release.
