BC Fresh Vegetables Inc., Delta, British Columbia, has added Dawn Gray to its board of directors.

Gray, who started Dawn Gray Global Consulting 7 years ago, is celebrating her 40th anniversary in the industry, according to a news release.

She has had executive roles in sales and marketing at numerous companies, including The Oppenheimer Group, BC Hot House Foods Inc., Vanguard International and Frieda’s Specialty Produce. She has been general manager of New Zealand’s Turners and Growers/ENZA International and president of the Central California Orange Growers Cooperative.

She was recognized in The Packer’s Women in Produce list in 2010, and received the inaugural Produce Marketing Association’s Center for Growing Talent Women’s Catalyst Award in 2018.

“Adding a talent of Dawn’s caliber to our board is the next step as we continue to expand and grow our fresh produce business,” Murray Driediger, BCfresh president and CEO, said in the release. “Her experience, leadership qualities, and industry relationships are a huge benefit to our org.”
