California Citrus Mutual, Exeter, has hired Lori Apodaca as director of regulatory affairs.
She most recently was in education for several years in Exeter. Before that she was a senior trade analyst at the International Trade Commission, for the United Nations International Fund for Agriculture Development, according to a news release.
At California Citrus Mutual, Apodaca will analyze regulatory proposals for the citrus industry from state and federal governments.
“Finding Lori is an outstanding addition to our staff as we become more aggressive challenging those who create negative public policy for the family farmer and otherwise impose unintended consequences on growers who provide a nutritious product and thousands of jobs year-round,” CCM President Joel Nelsen said in the release.
