They can choose which berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries) and pack sizes they’re interested in purchasing, according to a news release.

California Giant plans to track and use the consumer demographic information from the new tool to share with trading partners. It’s “fueled” by Nielsen scan data, so the information based on latest branded sales in the area, according to the release.

“We are measuring locator traffic on the website along with most popular locations searched for, most popular products, and most popular retailers that are included in shopper searches” Cindy Jewell, vice president of marketing, said in the release. “We are excited about being part of this new feature being offered to our loyal shoppers, and to enticing new brand followers.”

The company is using its social media channels to drive consumer traffic to the “where to buy” feature on the site, where current promotions and seasonal coupons will also be displayed.
