The California Table Grape Commission, Fresno, has hired David Dudley as marketing director of category management.

Dudley has been at Save Mart for 5 ½ years, most recently as senior produce category manager, according to a news release. He has also worked for Markon Cooperative for 3 ½ years, as a product manager.

At the grape commission, his responsibilities include expanding retail demand in the U.S. and Canada through enhanced category management.

“David’s nearly 10 years of experience in produce management and his experience in the retail sector will be key to the development of future retail programs,” Kathleen Nave, commission president, said in the release.

Dudley, whose focus will be on developing a strategic marketing plan, is part of a four-member retail team and manage numerous retail accounts, according to the release.
