Montreal-based wholesaler Canadawide Inc. won the CPMA’s inaugural Corporate Culture award at the recent Canadian Produce Marketing Association convention in Montreal.
“I believe our culture comes naturally,” Canadawide President George Pitsikoulis said. “Although we’ve grown over the years we continue to operate as a family business — we’re all in it together. That’s how we differentiate ourselves and what makes for a strong company culture.”
Canadawide was chosen from CPMA members who participated in Waterstone Human Capital’s corporate Culture Dashboard exercise.
Pitsikoulis said he forwarded the confidential survey to his team to give everyone the opportunity to participate.
CPMA members who complete the Waterstone survey are automatically considered for next year’s award and receive a customized report highlighting their results as well as potential areas for improving their corporate culture.
They also receive exclusive content regarding best practices and trends in corporate culture and have the opportunity to work directly with Waterstone for a discounted fee.
