After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in August, Cherry Growers Inc. in Grawn, Mich., is liquidating all assets.

New Mill Capital, a national asset acquisition and disposition firm, is conducting a two-day auction sale of more than 1,000 pieces of fruit receiving, processing, packaging and plant support equipment, according to a news release.

Bidding for the exclusively online auction begins April 12 and closes April 25 and 26.

Cherry Growers’ 300,000-square-foot facility was used to process and produce apple and cherry products, and equipment up for auction includes juice production and packaging lines, raw fruit receiving, grading and washing, IQF, plant support and much more, fully listed on newmillcapital.com, according to the release.

The April 25 closing includes all processing, packaging and refrigeration equipment, with April 26 including all plant support, lab, forklifts and vehicles.

Interested buyers can also attend open equipment inspections on April 20, 23 and 24 or by appointment.
