Three women have been promoted at Choptank Transport, Preston, Md.
Charlene Keller is senior director of enterprise accounts, Robin Tull is senior manager of specialized logistics and Jennifer Daniels is associate director of sales.
Keller joined Choptank in 2006 as a sales representative, but quickly took on the role of managing larger national accounts and joined industry advisory boards and attending trade shows, according to a news release. She formerly worked for Perdue Farms.
Tull has been with Choptank since 2008, which she joined after eight years as a sales representative and 13 years as transportation and distribution manager at Allen Family Foods. She started as a logistics coordinator at Choptank, then led the team of six to eight logistics coordinators, according to the release. She was appointed to oversee the company’s intermodal department and promoted again this year. She oversees intermodal, dry less-than-truckload, port and drayage, hazmat and government contract shipments, according to the release.
Daniels joined Choptank in 2012, starting as a sales representative, then an account executive. She was promoted to area sales manager in 2016. She is now in charge of managing 10 sales representatives and mentors sales managers in the Tampa, Fla., and Dallas Choptank offices, according to the release.
