Choptank has been recognized as a “Best & Brightest Company to Work For” and ranked on the “50 Best Companies to Sell For.”

“Particularly in today’s environment, we are thankful to be in an industry that is deemed essential and continues to grow despite sometimes uncertain economic conditions,” Pam Hutchinson, human resources vice president, said in a news release.

Best and Brightest Companies to Work For were determined by an independent research firm. Out of 1,700 nominations, Choptank was one of the 183 to receive the recognition.

For the third consecutive year, Choptank was in the 50 Best Companies to Sell For. The list was composed based on compensation, benefits, hiring, sales training, sales enablement and customer retention.

“In our industry (logistics), a sales career offers so much potential for professional and personal growth,” Hutchinson said in the release. “Job seekers want to be a part of companies that are expanding while ranking high on culture. Awards such as these put a spotlight on such sought-after attributes.”

Choptank is celebrating its 20-year anniversary and will be opening a new location.
