As part of a new endowment program, the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation, Alexandria, Va., is requesting proposals from more than two dozen university partners on how it can boost their current curricula for corrugated packaging.

The group plans to pick three proposals this spring to receive up to $150,000 each for new ideas, including expanding corrugated packaging design programs or introducing them earlier; adding specific internships for corrugated packaging; adding faculty for corrugated programs and more, according to a news release.

The organization plans to provide more information on the endowment in the coming months, according to the release. It has provided nearly $12 million in equipment and software to college packaging programs during the past two decades.
