Organically Grown Co.’s David Lively has been re-appointed to the Organic Trade Association’s board of directors.

Lively, identified as the pioneer emeritus of Organically Grown, Eugene, Ore., was named to fill an appointed seat on the board at the association’s annual meeting Sept. 12 in Baltimore. In 2015, he was appointed to a three-year term on the board as well.

Chris Jagger, owner-operator of Blue Fox Farm, Applegate, Ore., was elected to the board. Blue Fox Farm grows more than two dozen types of vegetables.

Kim Dietz, senior manager of environmental, natural and organic policy for The J.M. Smucker Co., was re-elected president of the OTA board, according to a news release.

For the second year in a row, a record 37% of eligible member companies actively engaged in voting on board members, according to the release.
