Danone is considering a sale of Earthbound Farm, the organic produce processor and distributor it acquired in 2016.

Bloomberg and other media are reporting that Paris-based Danone is “working with financial advisors on the possible disposal” of Earthbound Farm, with a possible price tag of $500 million. In 2016, Danone purchased Whitewave Foods Co., which purchased Earthbound in 2014 in a $600 million cash deal.

Bloomberg, citing anonymous sources, reported that Danone has received interest from private equity companies and corporate buyers. Those sources also told Bloomberg no decision has been made, and Danone could choose to keep the organic company.

According to Bloomberg, Danone declined to comment on the reports.
