The National Center for Electron Beam Research is sponsoring a workshop on using the technology on food for safety purposes.
The 10th Hands-on Workshop in eBeam Technologies is April 17-19 at Texas A&M University’s College Station campus.
Participants can bring fresh produce or other food products to be used during the workshop, according to a news release. The focus of the hands-on exercises is to provide an in-depth education on performing eBeam dosing experience, dose-mapping experience and if needed, dose tolerant exposures, according to the release.
A related workshop for medical devices and pharmaceuticals is April 15-17.
