The U.S. Department of Agriculture has reinstated Epic Fresh Produce LLC’s ability to operate in the fresh produce industry.

Epic Fresh, Boca Raton, Fla., has paid a $43,302 to a produce seller, according to the USDA, and can apply for a Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act license from the USDA.

Epic Fresh principal Mario Cardenas can be employed by or affiliated with PACA-licensed companies, according to a USDA news release.
