Several third-party logistics and cold storage companies involved in the produce industry supply chain were included on Food Logistics’ 2018 list of top providers.
Food Logistics covers the movement of product through the global food supply chain and its annual Top 3PL & Cold Storage Providers list recognizes companies that offer innovative technology solutions along with great customer service and collaboration, according to a news release.
“Leading 3PLs and cold storage providers that support the global food supply chain are increasingly tasked with providing more value for their customers while simultaneously controlling costs,” Lara L. Sowinski, editorial director of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive, said in the release.
This year’s list of 92 companies includes Allen Lund Co., Blue Ribbon Transport, Choptank Transport, Legion Logistics, Lineage Logistics, Scotlynn Group of Cos. and Total Quality Logistics.
