Leading women in agriculture and ag technology will share insights on challenges and opportunities in their fields at Cal State Monterey Bay’s upcoming forum on Women in Ag, AgTech, and Tech.

The half-day forum, 2-6 p.m. on Feb. 28 at Cal State Monterey Bay’s University Center, features three one-hour panels followed by a networking reception, according to the university.

Speakers on the Women in Ag panel include Lorri Koster, chairwoman and CEO of Mann Packing Co.; Margaret D’Arrigo-Martin, vice president of community development for Taylor Farms; and Angela Nunez, vice president of technical support for SmartWash Solutions, a Taylor Farms subsidiary.

A focus of the discussions is how agtech can help local and rural economies and workforces, said panel moderator Amy Wu, an ag journalist.

Admission to the event is free.
