Quince harvest will increase in September after starting in late August for Kingsburg, Calif.-based Fresh Farms, said Aron Gularte, sales representative with Fresh Farms. 

Meanwhile, he said persimmon harvest will begin for the company in late September or early October.

Shipments of both fruit will continue through the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Fresh Farms will also have good supply of grapes all the way until Christmas, Gularte said.
