As Frontera Produce Ltd., Edinburg, Texas, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, the company continues to add more products to its lineup to better serve customers.

“Twenty-five years in the produce industry is an achievement to be proud of,” Will Steele, president and CEO of Frontera Produce, said in a news release. “We owe a debt of gratitude to our employees, customers, growers, vendors and the entire produce industry for their continued support throughout our history.”

The company recently partnered with Continental Fresh LLC, Miami, to offer year-round supplies of mangoes and limes, according to the release. The new partnership adds to Frontera’s Mexican and Peruvian grower relationships by bringing in product from Brazil and Ecuador.

Frontera Produce Vice President Amy Gates said the company sees continued growth through Continental Fresh and its owner, Albert Perez, combining Frontera’s sourcing with Continental Fresh’s sales and marketing expertise.

“Moving into the next 25 years, Frontera will continue to advance our business by leaning on our core principle values of integrity, transparency, and excellent communication, that have taken us this far,” says Amy Gates, Vice President of Frontera Produce.
