The company suggests retailers start planning promotions now for Stemilt’s Artisan Organic apricots, which should start around June 20 and run through July, according to a news release.
Brianna Shales, communications manager, said in the release that focusing on bulk sales and promoting in the weeks from June 25 to July 15 should yield the best results.
“Sizing has done a complete reversal from last year,” Shales said in the release.
“While last year brought smaller sizes and increased bag promotions, this year bulk is in. Sizing is going to be large with apricots in panta packs.”
The company suggests promoting organic apricots for July Fourth and advertising organic and conventional afterward.
