Tracy, Calif.-based GloriAnn Farms recently donated $20,000 to charities following two successful promotions.

The funds went to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and the National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc., according to a news release.

GloriAnn’s total donations from 2017 are more than $250,000 for both organizations, the release said.

During August, the company donated a portion of the sales from every case of value-added GloriAnn sweet corn sold to retailers.

The money from that promotion went directly to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, the release said, and will help build military care centers.

The company also had its annual Corn for the Cause campaign in October.

Corn for the Cause is a similar promotion, with the proceeds benefiting the breast cancer organization.

“GloriAnn Farms’ Corn for the Cause campaign during Breast Cancer Awareness Month has given their retailers and customers an easy and compelling way to support our mission of Helping Women Now,” Danae Johnson, senior director of development for the foundation, said in the release. “Their partnership over the last six years has raised over $100,000 to help provide life-saving services to women in need and inspire hope at every step of their breast cancer journey.”
