Good Foods, Pleasant Prairie, Wis., has hired Lionel Mendoza as vice president of business development and promoted Brittany Vetter to national director of sales — retail.

Mendoza’s focus will be on building relationships with retailers, and foodservice operators. Before joining Good Foods, Mendoza was senior vice president of sales and business development at Ruprecht Co., where he was responsible for developing and implementing a market strategy, leading the sales process with retailers and meal kit delivery services, according to a news release.

Vetter was previously key accounts manager. In her new sales role, she will develop strategies to connect with retailers, oversee product merchandising and build the retail sales team, according to the release.

She joined the company in 2018, and previously was promotional sales planning manager for Kroger, managing the salad mix, fresh dip and dressing category.

“Lionel brings years of experience and expertise into his new position, making him the ideal candidate to join our growing team,” Danyel O’Connor, executive vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release. “Brittany is a cherished member of our team, and her promotion is a testament to her dedication to the company and enthusiasm to grow within our sales division.”
