Ippolito International, Salinas, Calif., has promoted Jason Grolnick to director of sales and hired Evan Guiliani as director of foodservice sales and new business development.

Grolnick joined Ippolito in July as sales/commodity manager. He started his career in produce at Mar-kon Cooperative as a buyer in 1997. He moved to the sales side at NewStar Fresh Foods, and for the past 15 years has been a senior account manager at Tanimura & Antle, focusing on foodservice growth.

“Jason has made a significant impact within our sales team in the short period of time he has been here,” Dan Canales, senior vice president of sales, marketing and processing. “In this newly created position, he will work with both foodservice and retail accounts.

Giuliani’s position is a new one at Ippolito, according to a news release. He will be responsible for ex-panding foodservice sales and distribution channels. Before joining Ippolito, Giuliani was director of outside sales-foodservice for Taylor Farms. Before that, he was in sales at Gill’s Onions LLC.

“He is highly respected in the industry and has tremendous knowledge of the foodservice sector,” Canales said in the release. “With our continued growth in value-added products, Evan is a great addi-tion to the team.”
