Los Angeles-based Joolies, an organic medjool date company, won the award for best first-time exhibitor at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit.

The Joolies booth was one of more than 1,200 exhibitors, according to a news release.

“Joolies was chosen as the best first-time exhibitor out of more than 160 first-time exhibitors based on their exhibit, product appeal, messaging, and engagement,” Kyle McMillan, PMA trade show manager, said in the release. “The Fresh Summit best of show judges noted that Joolies’ display was colorful, fun and unforgettable, with friendly staff, multi-level messaging and engaging and integrated branding.” 

The Joolies booth included a “speed date-ing” table where buyers, bloggers and brokers met the Joolies team, product displays and highlights from the brand’s first year in business, according to the release.

All Joolies organic medjool dates are from its farm in Coachella, Calif., according to the release.
