Joolies, a new brand of organic California medjool dates, is making the jump from online sales to Whole Foods stores in California and Nevada.

The dates are available at Whole Foods throughout California and in the Southern Pacific region of Nevada, according to a news release.

"While we are already available nationwide through Thrive Market and Amazon, it was important for us to build a strong foundation in stores too, starting at home in California,” co-founder Greg Willsey said in the release. “Our team has been working hard to get us into other key retailers like Erewhon, that are aligned with our values in high quality, organic food.”

Joolies are grown on a family farm in California’s Coachella Valley.

"We are beyond excited to be launching at Whole Foods Market through the Local Supplier program,” co-founder David Kohl said in the release. “Given our focus on 'fresh from our farm,' and the Southern Pacific region being our home turf, this feels like the perfect way to start before expanding our distribution with Whole Foods nationally."

Joolies come in 14-ounce whole and 11-ounce pitted containers with suggested retail prices of $8.99, according to the release.
