Kim St George has joined Renaissance Food Group, Rancho Cordova, Calif., as vice president of business development.
St George has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, with Salinas Valley, Calif., grower-shipper shippers. She most recently was with Mann Packing, Salinas, in a variety of roles, including director of sales and marketing, director of marketing and innovation, and director of marketing and communications. She has also had marketing roles at Taylor Farms Retail and River Ranch Fresh Foods, according to a news release.
In 2014, The Packer featured her in the Women in Produce section of notable women in the industry.
At Mann Packing, she worked with U.S. and Canadian companies to develop Mann’s value-added private brand and club portfolios, according to the release.
At Renaissance Food Group (RFG), she reports to James Naamen, senior vice president of national sales. She began the position April 1.
“The addition of Kim to the RFG family proves our commitment and dedication to our valued customers,” Naaman said in the release. “We look forward to the impact Kim will make as she works cross-functionally within the company to develop strategic partnerships that align with our production facilities nationwide.”
She is vice chairwoman of the United Fresh Produce Association’s Produce Marketing and Merchandising Council, and has been on the Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s Northern California Committee, multiple Produce Marketing Association committees and the University of California-Davis Cal Aggie Alumni Association board of directors, according to the release.
