The 20th Annual Lipman Golf Classic tournament will once again benefit the Redlands Christian Migrant Association.

More than 120 golfers are expected at the tournament, May 4 at the Naples Heritage Golf and Country Club, sponsored in part by Lipman Family Farms and Food and Supply Source, according to a news release.

The18-hole scramble tournament starts with a breakfast and ends with an awards luncheon.

Through sponsorships, raffles and other sources, the event helps RCMA’s mission to provide childcare and education to more than 7,000 children in Florida.

Patrick Dorbad, general manager of the Naples Heritage Golf & Country Club, sent his adopted grandson to a RCMA daycare.

“It worked beautifully for us,” he said in the release. “And one day, they came to me and said, ‘We are closing. We don’t have the funding,’ and the rest is history.”

The fundraising goal this year is $100,000. For more information, visit http://www.rcma.net/golf-tournament/ or contact Clay at the RCMA at 813-215-5803.
