Salad dressing company Litehouse Inc., Sandpoint, Idaho, has promoted Dorrie Francis to vice president of Technical Services.
She will oversee food safety, regulatory compliance, and research and development. Francis, who joined Litehouse in 2013, is now part of the Executive Leadership Team and reports to President and CEO Jim Frank, according to a news release.
She graduated from Kansas State University with a master’s degree in Food Science, and has more than 17 years of food industry experience including food safety management, regulatory and research and development, according to the release.
Litehouse earned the Safe Quality Food Level 3 certification for its Simply Artisan Reserve manufacturing plant under her leadership.
Francis is on the Association of Dressings and Sauces Executive Technical Board.
